Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26 March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of products from Anteprima SRL (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our Canadian website (www.anteprima.shop/ca/). By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

2. About Us

We are Anteprima SRL, a company registered in Italy, with our principal place of business at Via Pra 66, 35042 Este (PD), Italy. Contact us at [email protected].

We are an international seller of luxury, handcrafted pet furniture — dog beds, sofas, cushions, blankets, and bags — crafted by skilled Italian artisans. We ship to Canada under DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) terms.

3. Products and Pricing

All prices on our Canadian website are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

DDP Pricing — The Price You See Is the Price You Pay: Our prices are fully inclusive. The price displayed is the total price you pay — all international shipping costs, Canadian customs duties, and import taxes are included. There are no hidden fees and no surprise charges at delivery. This is our commitment to our Canadian customers.

All products are handcrafted in Italy using traditional techniques and premium materials. Our collections — including Luxury Dog Beds, Luxury Dog Sofas, Sofa Damask Cushions, Luxury Dog Blankets, and Designer Dog Bags — are made to the highest standards of Italian craftsmanship.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place your order.

4. Orders and Payment

We accept payment by credit and debit card via Stripe and PayPal. By submitting your order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion.

You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is accepted. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation.

5. Delivery

We deliver to addresses throughout Canada under DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) terms. This means all shipping costs, customs clearance fees, and import duties are included in the price you pay at checkout.

Estimated delivery times are 10 to 20 business days from the date of dispatch. Each piece is handcrafted to order in Italy — a reflection of the time and care that goes into every product.

Risk of loss and title to the products passes to you upon delivery to your nominated address.

6. Consumer Rights

Your rights as a consumer are protected by federal and provincial Canadian law, and we are fully committed to honouring them.

Your consumer rights are protected by provincial consumer protection legislation, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (CPA) and equivalent legislation in other provinces and territories — for example, the Consumer Protection Act in British Columbia, the Consumer Protection Act in Quebec, and similar statutes elsewhere in Canada.

Key rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection law include:

  • Accurate product descriptions: Goods must match their description and any representations made. All our product descriptions and marketing materials comply with the Competition Act (Canada) — we make no misleading claims about our products, prices, or services.
  • Merchantable quality: Goods must be of merchantable quality and fit for their ordinary purpose.
  • Cooling-off period for internet agreements: Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, for internet agreements over CAD $50, you may cancel within 7 days of receiving a written copy of the agreement. Similar cooling-off rights may apply in other provinces. Please refer to your provincial consumer protection legislation for the specifics applicable to your province.
  • Right to cancel for non-delivery: If goods are not delivered within the agreed timeframe, you may be entitled to cancel the agreement and receive a full refund.

Your statutory rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation cannot be waived or contracted out of.

7. Returns and Refunds

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary return policy: you may return any item within 14 days of delivery, provided it is in its original, unused condition with all original packaging intact.

To initiate a return, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your order. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or our error.

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of our receiving the returned item and confirming it meets our return conditions.

This voluntary policy does not limit, restrict, or override your statutory rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the purchase price of the goods in question.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation, PIPEDA, the Competition Act, or any other statute that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Provincial consumer protection rights cannot be waived.

9. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is collected, used, and stored in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

We collect your personal information only for the purposes of processing and fulfilling your order. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions);
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. For further information about our privacy practices, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Advertising and Product Claims

All product descriptions and marketing materials on our Canadian website comply with the Competition Act (Canada). We are committed to honest and accurate representations of our products. We make no misleading or deceptive claims about our products, prices, or services.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at [email protected]. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may contact your provincial consumer protection office. In Ontario, this is Consumer Protection Ontario (ontario.ca/page/consumer-protection-ontario). In other provinces, please contact your respective provincial consumer protection authority.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
